I often do volunteer work at Peacehaven, a community farm with an amazing environment and a supportive-living home for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Peacehaven’s residents all support each other through daily life on the farm. Today, when I was at the farm, I helped plant peppers, squash, and mint. I joined others in weeding some of the growing plots, then, I helped cart wool and prepare it for a project Peacehaven’s members are planning on doing soon.

Ben is one of the residents at Peacehaven and a great guide who’s always helpful. He makes me laugh, and is such a positive person.
